  3. OK. I've had time to do it and it's a perfectly normal place, 
  4. only not very well lit. It looks very dark, but _not_ black: you 
  5. can see some details. From the other side, as the room is quite 
  6. well lit, it's a perfectly normal door.
  7. So the solution is probably that Doug corrects his lighting 
  8. algorithm so that the darkest lighting is not totally black, 
  9. like in doom.

  11. Oh, I've just made a deathmatch on an old 486DX33 and it seems 
  12. to me like the framerate is very comparable to what we get in 
  13. 160x100 on a RGB monitor :)
